The hot air balloons floats over Malaysia's Prime Minister's Office Putra Perdana during International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 in Putrajaya outside Kuala Lumpur. The four-day show anticipated by participants from Belgium, New Zealand, Nertherlands, France, United States, Philiphines, Switzerland, Japan and Malaysia.

First of all the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta team would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone involved in making the 2009 event a success especially to the local authorities, our sponsors, the media, vendors, participants, concessions stand vendors, guests, pilots, crew, photographers, bloggers, and especially to YOU, the public. We would also like to apologise for any shortcomings before, during and after the event.

The success of the 2009 event, which managed to pull more than 150,000 visitors throughout the four days, has made us enthusiastic and excited in organizing the 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010. Hopefully, it would be a bigger success. We would be inviting more colourful and attractive balloons (along with the pilots of course!) that would mesmerise everyone, regardless of your age. More activities are also planned for the public this time. Themed 1World, 1Malaysia, 1Fiesta we hope to promote unity amongst us whilst having fun, fun, fun!!
